Listening to music

The following icons are displayed under Music. The icons displayed vary depending on the conditions of use.

	UMD™	Play UMD™MUSIC.
	Memory Stick™	Play music saved on Memory Stick Duo™ media.
	(folder)	The PSP™ system can play tracks in groups that were configured using a PC.
	(music files)	Thumbnails are displayed for music saved on Memory Stick Duo™ media.

If the HOME button or SELECT button is pressed during playback, the screen will return to the home menu. If the button is pressed again, the music playback screen will be displayed.
UMD™MUSIC containing video content (such as music videos) are played in the same way as UMD™VIDEO. For detailed instructions, see [Using the control panel] under (Video).
You must activate [Settings] > [System Settings] > [Enable WMA Playback] to enable playback of music data in WMA format.
If you want to specify the order of the tracks, create an m3u file specifying the order in the folder. The system displays the file as an (m3u) icon and treats it as a group.
Content saved under [RSS Channel] is displayed as a folder named "[RSS] channel name".
